Tom McVeety is an artist, a technician, and most importantly, a storyteller. He has been engaging audiences through light since early high school, leveraging dynamic and meaningful designs to intertwine story, emotion, and meaning. He believes that light should not only elevate the work of every other member of the production team, but also be the element that brings each piece together. A Colorado native, Tom has designed over 25 theatrical productions, alongside a myriad of works spanning dance, concerts, readings, and other live events. Throughout high school, he designed regularly for five companies across the Front Range, and after graduating expanded to working across the country. He currently attends the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for lighting design and programming, and continues to work for professional venues nationwide.
